Short Escape

Hey ho you all! ;)
So relieved that I can write here after too many, many deadlines and tasks chasing around. Yeay!
Yes, my great-great-super-final-task-of-the-semester has passed and I pray to God that my efforts will pay me an equal grade. Wish me luck!
Still, there are some tasks left, but not that big so I can still keep in touch with you all ;)

Here's a few photos from my short two night escape at Trawas, last May. Well I didn't take many photos because, mostly, I filled my days sitting in front of my laptop doing assignments, and on the last day there when I actually had planned to take some walk around, I got sick and just lay on bed. Pity ._.

No more words, enjoy! :D

And here's the view from the balcony!

Here's my lil bro!

The small church near the villa where we went on Sunday morning.

And what I love more about vacation is.. The FOOD! Yeay. I love cooking, and taking photos of food as well! These are some of my new hobby! ;) I arrange food and take a beauty shoot with them. Did I sound like a freak? Haha.

Gulai Kambing

So tell me how you're doing! Love to hear from you all!

Felice anniversario.

Last April 30th is my second relationship anniversary,
with the only guy who can stick with me in my every mood and condition,
Mr. Jonathan Juwono :*

It's unusual but, I planned to make a little dish for our dinner at my home. Imagine a romantic-fine-dining style dinner, but only DIY version. Haha. But I hasn't prepared anything before *except the ingredients and recipes*  and it's very very hectic at that day, and I didn't have the time to even take a single photo. *cry. CRY.* Sorry! I made Fettuccine Alfredo, Grilled Cheese, Bacon, and Hash-brown Sandwich, and Flour-less Chocolate Cake. All yummy!

Two years. Very short time, eh? But it changed me a lot.

In life, God put someone to take care after you.
We're surrounded by God's greatest gift, the people who loves us. And by His time, there will come someone who will really enjoy every time with you, despite all of the condition you're in. We may haven't know when, but when you exchange vow with him on your big day, He will make sure you're looking at the face of someone who will always love you until your last breath.
So keep faith. Keep love. And love will keep you back. :)

I might often make you angry, and sad, and I know I'm too stubborn sometimes, but you'll never can be replaced by anything. Period.

**

My darling,
I love you.
You are the dearest thing that I have.
I want to spend my life with you.
Happy anniversary

"One choice can transform you."

"One Choice.

One Choice, decided your friends.
One Choice, defines your beliefs.
One Choice, determines your loyalties - Forever.

One choice can transform you.”

I'm a bookworm. And I am very proud with that.
Books make you live a thousand lifes. I truly believe in that quote. Books are windows to the world, it can changes the way we think of things, even of ourselves. A book can  take you anywhere. This book is one of them.

Divergent - #1 book of Divergent trilogy by the author Veronica Roth. It sets over a futuristic world of Chicago, after a nuclear war that destroyed the world. Society divided into five different factions that each represent a different virtue.

Abnegation - the faction that values selflessness in the service of others.
Amity - the faction who values peace above all else.
Candor - the faction that values honesty.
Dauntless - the faction who tests their bravery by attempting death defying feats.
Erudite - the faction who live their lives in the pursuit of knowledge.

When you're 16, you have to make a choice that defines your entire life. You have to choose which faction you will give your loyalty. Or else, you'll be factionless. No home, no friends. No one to hold onto.
Beatrice Prior made a shocking choice. She left her peaceful home in Abnegation and join the brave in Dauntless. She left her parents and live with her new faction. New home, new name. Tris. But before they're fully accepted in their new home, they must pass this  Dauntless initiation - with extreme physical and intense psychological test. But deep inside, she has a secret. She's not what everyone thinks of her. She's different. And if they found out.. There's only one way through: death.

"We believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another." - Dauntless Manifesto

I'm in love with this book more and more as I turned the pages. And it shocked me that this novel is a debut from the author, Veronica Roth. Divergent has a complex story build around it - but she makes sure that everyone understand it by the most simple way. Well-said. And Four, I mean, this guy, I WANT HIM OMGASDFGHKL. Ooops sorry! I'm just a girl!

"Something about him makes me feel like I am about to fall.  Or turn to liquid.  Or burst into flames." - Tris

This is a typical book that you won't just pass, it has a very unique story. And the plot was just too.. Well, not too much but not so little, do you get it? And the romantic part is the best. Veronica didn't make Tris as a weak and cry-baby girl. Instead, she's brave, deadly smart, and there's no chance in earth you would doubt her confidence.

“Fear doesn't shut you down; it wakes you up." - Four.

"...it’s when you’re acting selflessly that you are at your bravest." - Four

Okay, I won't spoil the story any further. If you're interested, please go to bookstore and grab this book. Fast. Right now I'm having this urge to run to the nearest bookstore from my home and buy Insurgent - the second book - but I'm in this crisis money. Maybe I'll search the e-book after this. *But I like fresh books better. Those scent..*

Well, have a good day! :)

"I am not Abnegation.  I am not Dauntless.
I am Divergent."

Mac 'n Cheese Pie

I've mentioned before on my earlier post about how I love cooking nowadays, ryte? ;)
So this is one of my most favorite recipe of all, The Macaroni and Cheese Pie.
I got the recipe from some random recipe book, decided to try on it, and it turned out to be very good!
How can you resist Mac and Cheese?! They're just lovable!
Besides, you only need few ingredients: Tomatoes, Macaroni, Cheese, Flour, and Egg. And taraaaaa!

I might warn you something: once you eat this, you won't be able to stop. Well, unless your house is burning or something. Kidding!
If you want to try this recipe, you can click here for another similar recipe I found from Brown Eyed Baker. Pick one! PS: Have I told you how amazing she is? Okay, I've said it too many times. She's my Muse!
You can add some other ingredients too, I added sausage to the original recipe and they taste as just what I've expected. Very yum-yum!

Happy weekend everyone! :D

Tephi's Sweet 17th Birthday Party

Last night I attended a sweet 17th birthday party of my girl - Stephanie Hutani! She was a guitarist in my gospel band, we've been friends since I was in the 11th grade. She's on the same age with my sister, three years younger than me.
I hadn't been attending sweet 17th party for some time, so I feel a lil bit younger last night. Haha ironically I'm turning twenty this year.. TWENTY! Gosh, so old. Yet time still flies too fast.

The BEST news is.. I bought it, finally! My own camera :D
So here's some photo from the party last night!
