Tephi's Sweet 17th Birthday Party

Last night I attended a sweet 17th birthday party of my girl - Stephanie Hutani! She was a guitarist in my gospel band, we've been friends since I was in the 11th grade. She's on the same age with my sister, three years younger than me.

I hadn't been attending sweet 17th party for some time, so I feel a lil bit younger last night. Haha ironically I'm turning twenty this year.. TWENTY! Gosh, so old. Yet time still flies too fast.

The BEST news is.. I bought it, finally! My own camera :D

DKV Prime Time Harlem Shake!

Hello fellow bloggers! :*

Oooohh so long time no talk!

I had been so busy these days, mainly because this event - DKV Prime Time -
An event from my Major, Visual Communication Design.

I'm the coordinator of the 'Event' division
-is that what they called it in english? Well, whatever-
so I had been doing some preparation for the event.

In the middle of our 2nd simulation for the seminar, we made this video.

X'celent Crew 3rd Birthday

Well well, the Christmas atmosphere is everywhere! 

December is always a very sweet month that enjoyed and delighted by everybody, don't you think?

And in the middle of December, just a few weeks before Christmas, is the birthday of my best besties ever,
X'celent Crew!

You know, time flies really fast. We always grew up too fast, sometimes not knowing which path we should take, or even made a terrible mistake that keeps haunting us for days -- 

But despite of it all, you always have that one friend - who encourage you when you're asking for advice, who will answer your calls when you're calling them for help, who will sit in silent and listen carefully to your thoughts when you have a problem, but at the same time not afraid to tell you how you've been wrong all those times.

To me, these are my true friends.

We fight a lot, miscomunicate often, well; that's okay. We didn't gather much because our busy days. We lost members. We didn't talk to others as much as we were. But these, these made we grew into who we really are.

In the end, they who stand here until now, until this very second, are what I can proudly call my true friends. My second family. :)

So I don't think if we're just a little group, or if we don't meet too much, but with them I can share everything - without over-thinking that they may stab you behind your back.

Visual Celebration 2012

This is one of the reasons why I couldn't update this blog last month.

FYI, 29th September was the birthday of my major, Visual Communication Design, from Petra Christian University, Surabaya. And for the very-first-time-ever in history, the head major requested a celebration for the birthday. The event called Visual Celebration, or the easier way to call it: VIBRATION!

I was joining the committee as Sponsorship Division. :)

You know what the best part was? Some of my best friends in college were joining the committee too, so it was super fun! Everything you do with your best friends, even if it's the most tired and boring thing, it will feels sooo much better. You think so, right? :)

Visual Celebration event took three days of September month: from Thursday to Saturday, 27th-29th.

We also had so many events! There were Bazaar, Poster Competition, DKV's Got Talents (D'gatels), and our main and closing event, The Celebration: Recall the Magical Moment.

Day 1

Thursday, September 27th, 2012

We officially opened our Events and Bazaar! The Bazaar was going for two days, On 27th and 28th September. And I am so proud of this Bazaar. Why? Because it was our responsibility, Sponsorship Division, to look for companies or shops who want to participate in our Bazaar. If we failed, the bazaar will be failed, too. Thanks God, you lead us through it :) We know it didn't come out as much as we expected, but it was our best efforts!

Day 2

Friday, September 28th, 2012

Bazaar day two, and also the last day of Bazaar. It was also the elimination round of DKV Got Talents (D'gatels)

D'gatels was like the talent variety show that's been popular in television. We do it with our version for VCD students. There were so many talents and they were contending to go to the finals on Day 3rd :)

Oh, me and my bestgirls (Wulan from bootsydoopsy, Bk from bellespell, Ck, White, and Vivi) were having a sleepover at Vivi's apartment this day. We had to stay overnight because we and the other committee were going to decorate the auditorium, the place for our main event for the final day. We were so busy. Like, very busy. I slept by 5 am and had to woke up at 7am.. yeah.

Saturday, September 29th, 2012

This is the FINAL and the main event from Vibration! We were very busy, running here and there to make sure everything is prepared well. Me myself were busy selling the drinks!

The main event started on 2pm ad the schedule was so tight! There were the final from D'gatels, Dance performance, and the announcement for the winners of D'gatels and Poster Competition!

After the Top Celebration event is over, we were having a dinner together! Students and lecturers, all gathered here. There was a photobooth too, so you can capture the very sweet moments!

Yes, maybe there were few things that didn't went well, problems keep come one by one, lots of miscommunication, drained energy, even lost hopes and faith..

But we did our best.

We fight and we have done it as one big family of Vibration 2012 :)

The lovable August 20th!

Maybe for some of you, August 20th is just an ordinary day. Or maybe this year, it was a little bit special because it was on eid mubarak holiday, so you don't have to go to school, college, or work.

But for me, August 20th has always been my special day of the year. :)

Yes, it's my birthday!

So let me tell you about what happened that day ;p

August 19th, 2012

Okay. Day-1 before my birthday. I met my hubby by evening, and he accompanied me until night. He wanted to wait until it's 00.00 am, to greet me his Happy Birthday. Well, no one has ever done that for me, so, thankyou, huni♥

He waited with all of energy left, because the day before he didn't slept well, only one hour maybe :\ He had a sleepover with some of his friends. He barely can open his eyes, and just lay there on my bed looking so exhausted.. :'' I told him to go back to home but he just shaked his head. That means "No, I'll wait".

Tick Tock, it's 12 'clock, I asked him to go home and he agreed. Before he get in to his car, he said Happy Birthday to me. But what surprised me was, he opened his car trunk and took out a cake! So silly of him, he haven't lit the candle yet. So he lit out the candle, but when he stick the candle to the cake, they fell. the candle was too big, hahahaha. But it's okay, we hold the candle together, I made a wish and blew it all. We couldn't take any pictures because our hands were full. Sorry :p

Next surprise, he gave me my first present! *By that time I didn't know he prepared more than one gift for me..* He gave me a piggy pot! It's a pot that used for cooking, but it's very cute because it's shaped like pig. Actually I didn't have any single idea about that pot. We usually joked about a piggy pot, but I never take it seriously. He saw it the other day on a store, and he bought it for me. Oh :*

So there I was, blowing my first 19th Birthday cake and holding my first present.

August 20th, 2012

Your birthday day always feels so damn good to you. And that was what I feel that day.

I woke up with a big smile. *After what happened the night before, it's impossible for you not to smile like a stupid pig.* For today, I've planned to spend it with my boy. Just spend some time at home, since it's holiday. But my parents asked me to went somewhere with all of my sister-brothers, because they're going to taking care of my house.

Long story short, we went to Galaxy Mall with my boy, too. The mall was crowded, so we decided to went to TGA Bookstore. After half an hour maybe, suddenly my boy asked me to go out from that place. No, he insisted me to follow him. I was confused and absolutely had no idea why he wanted to go. I left my sister and brother, but I took my youngest brother with me.

We went to the parking lot. I kept asking "What's going on?" and "Where are we going?" and "Are we gonna leave my sister and brother here?" and "What are we doing now?" and "Please tell me." and so many more. But he just answered, "Just wait and see."

So we went up about, two or three floors and TADAAAA, my best friends were waiting there!

I was so surprised, I really didn't expect anything, like any surprises, because it was a holiday time, I thought they were on their vacation somewhere. 

They sang Happy Birthday and pulled out a cake. I close my eyes, made a wish and blew it.

Now's for the present time.. My hubby gave me a 'carton box?' and asked me to open it. 

And thankyou, he had wrapped it so strictly with tapes crossing all over the box and I couldn't opened it easily, I have to tear it with a little scream :\. Everytime you've done torn those, there was an another box inside it again, and again, and again, and it was full of newspaper pages, and tapes. And none of them were willing to help me .____. Maybe I spent about 15 minutes (or half an hour?) to open it. 

And when I saw what's the real present is, I just.. Couldn't say.. anything. They gave me a blackberry! Ohmy! Yes, they complain much about how hard to communicate with me -since I'm not a blackberry user, while most of them uses bb- but I never, ever, had any idea that they will give me this. I mean, it's expensive, and  it's.. I just can't say anythinggggg

Oh, and on the first day of college, my friends in DKV and GG:* give me a little surprise! This one was unexpexted too.
